We decided to go with a new build, and the sales agent gave us quite a bit of trouble during the contract process. The first lot we were interested in we told the sales agent we were ready to go to contract.The sales agent sold the lot out from under us to a different buyer, even though we were the first ones to tell her we were ready to contract. There was also a little bit of age discrimination going on because my sister and I were very young when we bought our first home. The sales agent thought she could move us to a different lot so she could build a more expensive home on the lot we originally wanted.
Melissa stepped in and fought for us. Thanks to Melissa, the builder ended up offering us a $20,000 design center credit and paid for a walkout basement. My sister and I have a beautiful home that we love and we couldn’t have gotten it without Melissa’s help. I would recommend her to anyone!
